Joining a mentorship program as a mentee provides invaluable opportunities for personal and professional growth. Connecting with mentors can help you get ahead in both your life and career! The Corporate Mentor Program helps connect Mike Ilitch students with a mentor based on interests, academic backgrounds, and much more.
Whether you're looking to enhance your resume, secure an internship, or find a career field that interests you, our mentoring program offers a unique experience for students to receive first-hand advice, tips, and guidance!
How to get started
Create Profile
Log in with your LinkedIn to pull your profile picture and email or set up your account via email. Either way you'll get to share your interests, experiences, and background to give your mentee/mentor context.
Fill out Forms
Mentees and Mentors will get paired with each other based on a variety of criteria including: industry, identity, major, location, and much more that's filled out in the forms when registering to the Corporate Mentor Program.
Connect From Anywhere
You'll receive a notification when you've been matched with your mentee/mentor! After that, the two of you can connect virtually or in person to complete the beginning milestones tasked to you both by the administration.
What's the commitment?
- Full academic year (October-May), unless stated otherwise (mentee graduates, etc.)
- Monthly meetings (30 minutes-2 hours)
- Share experiences, feedback, tips, etc.
