Becoming a mentor offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on someone's life and career. Mentoring helps students excel in and achieve their personal, academic, and professional goals. While we all have busy schedules, it can be hard to know where to start and whether you have time, but just 1-2 hours of talking with a mentee per month can drastically change the path of the student.
Our customized mentoring program allows you to connect with students no matter your location and on your schedule. If you're unsure where to start, there are resources for both the mentee and mentor in the Resources tab that can be used as guides for conversations.
How to get started
Create Profile
Log in with your LinkedIn to pull your profile picture and email or set up your account via email. Either way you'll get to share your interests, experiences, and background to give your mentee/mentor context.
Fill out Forms
Mentees and Mentors will get paired with each other based on a variety of criteria including: industry, identity, major, location, and much more that's filled out in the forms when registering to the Corporate Mentor Program.
Connect From Anywhere
You'll receive a notification when you've been matched with your mentee/mentor! After that, the two of you can connect virtually or in person to complete the beginning milestones tasked to you both by the administration.
What's the commitment?
- Full academic year (October-May), unless stated otherwise (mentee graduates, etc.)
- Monthly meetings (30 minutes-2 hours)
- Share experiences, feedback, tips, etc.
